Role Summary
The Business Analyst (BA) is a central figure on the Okta Professional Services team. Your mission is to serve as the bridge between customer business objectives and technical implementation, driving high-impact outcomes for Okta Identity and Access Management (IAM) deployments. You will own the requirements lifecycle—from initial discovery and stakeholder alignment to functional design and solution integrity—ensuring that the final delivery is secure, scalable, and aligned with the customer's strategic needs.

• Documentation & Solution Design: Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements. Produce clear business process flows and solution design diagrams to visualize the "how" and "why" behind the technical configuration.
• Traceability & Solution Integrity: Own the requirements traceability matrix to ensure alignment between business goals and technical outcomes. Validate that all functional requirements are successfully met through testing and acceptance criteria.
• Lifecycle Partnership: Partner with technical architects and consultants to translate requirements into actionable technical specifications. Provide functional oversight during the build phase to clarify business needs, resolve variances, and advise QA on defining robust acceptance criteria.
• Transition & Hand-off: Partner with project leadership to execute change management plans, create user training documentation, and assist with go-live support during the hypercare period. Upon completion of the hypercare phase, facilitate a structured hand-off to the customer and account team for final project wrap-up and long-term support.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
• Experience: 8+ years in consulting, analysis and enterprise project /program delivery
• Domain Expertise: Demonstrated understanding of IAM principles and best practices and applicable customer use cases.
• Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to evaluate system feasibility and provide data-backed recommendations on security posture, identity lifecycle efficiency, and long-term scalability.
• Communication Mastery: Excellent ability to synthesize complex technical specifications for non-technical stakeholders and influence diverse groups to achieve consensus.
• Organizational
