The Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Team is the backbone of AWS, supporting the rapid growth of AWS business and customers 24x7. We commit to maintain the critical facility infrastructure of AWS and ensure the standards for operational performance in the areas of safety, security, availability, productivity, capacity, efficiency and cost. Key job responsibilities - Rotating shift work is required to maintain 24/7 operations coverage - 需輪班工作以維持24/7的運作。 - Monitor and operate electrical and mechanical equipment in the data center. - 監控及操作數據中心內的電氣與機械設備 - Perform routine rounds and record daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment (e.g. temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.). - 進行每日例行巡檢，記錄所有機械及電氣設備的運行數據（如溫度、電壓、電流等） - Respond to emergencies, perform troubleshooting to resolve facility equipment issues, participate in emergency drills and on-call rotation, and report to site as required in support of facility emergency response per established protocols. - 響應緊急事件，進行故障排除以解決設施設備問題，參與緊急演習及待命輪值，並按既定程序及需要到場支援設施緊急應變 - Arrange and supervise contractors and vendors to ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment, and verify that the quality of work meets internal standards and requirements - 安排及監督承辦商和供應商，確保所有設施設備的正常運作及維護，並核實工作質量符合內部標準及要求 - Provide guidance and training to junior technicians and new joiners - 為初級技術員及新入職員工提供指導及培訓 - Assist in develop, review and update the MOP/SOP to ensure compliance with internal standards - 協助制定、審查及更新工作程序／標準操作程序，以確保符合內部標準。 A day in the life Also expected from the EOT is the ability to execute small-to-medium impacting projects from conception to completion. These projects involve moderate amounts of independent work as well as collaboration with external support groups including engineering, automation, processing, and finance in controlled environments. The EOT will be tasked with creating and delivering key milestones, obtaining and tracking quotes for all necessary costs, and documenting project results. The goals of such projects are to drive innovation and resiliency while reducing operational costs in the facilities.
