LICSW Supervisor / Lead DBT Therapist

DBT-PTSD Specialists of Minnesota, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Clinical Supervisor / Lead DBT Therapist to join our team in Plymouth, Minnesota. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone. As a Clinical Supervisor / Lead DBT Therapist, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population. You will provide individual therapy, facilitate DBT skills groups, provide phone coaching, supervise LGSW clinicians providing DBT, and participate in consultation team meetings. Ideal candidates will have formal training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and experience delivering evidence-based treatment to individuals with complex emotional and behavioral needs.

Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social work, or a related counseling field Board approved LICSW Supervisor in Minnesota. License must be active and unrestricted. 2+ years of professional experience providing behavioral health services, post master's degree 1+ years of supervisory experience DBT training Trained in one or more additional trauma treatment modalities and/or willing to receive additional training within the first year, if applicable Experience providing direct psychotherapy to individuals and/or groups Experience in outpatient mental health Experience with clinical documentation Experience with diagnostic assessments Experienced with treatment planning and maintaining a caseload Preferred Qualifications: DBT Certification Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) experience Experience and/or training in any of the following: EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP), Anchored Relational Model, Brainspotting, DBT-Prolonged Exposure Experience entering pertinent information in Athena RMS or other Electronic Health Record systems (EHRs) Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
