Job Function: Communications & Corporate/External Affairs Job Sub Function: Government Affairs & Policy Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Washington, District of Columbia, United States of America Job Description: We are searching for the best talent to join our team as a part-time Analyst, Political Programs to support the Political Programs and U.S. Government Affairs team in our Washington, DC. office . This role will help execute and strengthen political engagement programs, stakeholder initiatives, political contribution processes, advocacy activities, and related operational workstreams that advance the organization’s public policy objectives. They will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The collaboration with internal stakeholders, handling of confidential matters with discretion, and consistent demonstration of behaviors aligned with Johnson & Johnson’s Code of Business Conduct and Our Credo will be key.

Key Responsibilities

Political Programs & Stakeholder Engagement Support the planning and execution of political program activities, including fundraising events, stakeholder engagement initiatives, grassroots advocacy efforts, donor recognition programs, data analysis, and educational events related to public policy priorities. Coordinate and respond to requests from internal partners, ensuring timely communication and effective follow-through. Assist in organizing and facilitating site visits, meetings, and other engagement opportunities that support Political Programs and U.S. Government Affairs objectives. Maintain calendars, event tracking tools, and related communications to support Political Programs activities. Operations, Compliance & Financial Administration Initiate, track, reconcile, and report on bank deposits, program enrollment activities, and related transactions while maintaining accurate records.  Support political contribution processes and ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with applicable laws, policies and procedures. Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and other administrative documentation associated with program activities. Maintain organized electronic filing systems and ensure proper version control and record retention. Data Management, Reporting & Analytics Support the collection, analysis, maintenance, and reporting of program data to enable informed decision-making and operational effectiveness. Develop and maintain tracking tools, dashboards, and reports to monitor program activity and key performance metrics.  Integrate AI to drive efficiencies and enhance data analysis. Find opportunities to improve processes, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency. Ensure data integrity and timely delivery of recurring reports and stakeholder updates.
