For our location in Budapest, Hungary , we are looking for a Data Management Office Analyst EMEA Dept./Division: Corning Shared Services – Finance Purpose of Position The job holder is responsible for supporting data quality governance activities within assigned systems, with primary emphasis on conducting data quality assessments and audits. The role helps ensure that critical data is accurate, complete, consistent, and compliant with governance standards. Working in close partnership with GPOs, IT, and business stakeholders, this position identifies data quality issues, supports remediation efforts, and contributes to the ongoing strengthening of data governance practices within the supported systems and for defined data elements, primarily financial master data. Key Responsibilities • Conduct regular data quality audits within assigned operational systems to identify data defects, control gaps, and areas of non-compliance • Partner closely with CSS Ops Directors, GPOs, business stakeholders, IT, data owners, and DMO/governance teams to align priorities, resolve data issues, and establish sustainable DMO-related processes, documentation, and ways of working. • Monitor and analyze data quality trend for in-scope data domains, including accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, and adherence to rules defined by GPOs/business. • Own, update and maintain Data Reporting Dashboard • Identify, document, and track data quality issues, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to support timely resolution • Manage/Resolve tickets opened in ServiceNow related to data quality problems • Review and ensure correctness of data load files in case of projects, before the actual data load • Support the implementation and maintenance of enterprise data governance policies, standards, and stewardship practices within assigned systems and in -scope data elements • Prepare and communicate audit findings, issue summaries, and remediation status updates to DMO organization, GPOs and other relevant stakeholders • Maintain accurate and accessible documentation related to data steward procedures, controls, and audit results •
