Position
Overview At PNC, our people are our greatest differentiator and competitive advantage in the markets we serve. We are all united in delivering the best experience for our customers. We work together each day to foster an inclusive workplace culture where all of our employees feel respected, valued and have an opportunity to contribute to the company’s success. As a Senior Regulatory Reporting & Accounting Lead (VP) within PNC's Finance organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Birmingham, AL or Cleveland, OH. At PNC, accurate and transparent regulatory reporting is essential to how we operate and to the trust our regulators and stakeholders place in us. This role will serve as a go-to subject matter expert on our regulatory reporting requirements and the accounting considerations behind them. In this role, you'll help shape how PNC interprets and responds to a changing regulatory landscape. You'll evaluate the impact of new rules, guide stakeholders through what those changes mean for their reporting, set policy direction, and strengthen the governance practices that keep our submissions accurate and compliant. It's a role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, connecting the dots across teams, and being a trusted advisor when the answers aren't always obvious. You'll work closely with partners across Finance, Risk, Operations, Corporate Controllers, Regulatory Reporting, and the lines of business to tackle tough reporting questions, stay ahead of emerging requirements, and support a strong control environment. Job Description • Provide regulatory reporting advisory support for new products, transactions, organizational changes, and strategic initiatives. • Interpret regulatory reporting requirements and develop technical positions for complex accounting, capital, liquidity, and financial reporting matters. • Monitor regulatory, accounting, and industry developments and assess their impact to reporting processes and obligations. • Lead regulatory change implementation efforts end to end, including stakeholder communication, impact assessments, and readiness activities. • Maintain regulatory reporting policies, governance standards, and interpretive guidance to ensure consistent application across the enterprise. • Strengthen the regulatory reporting control environment through partnership with Risk, Compliance, and Audit, including support for examinations and remediation efforts. • Collaborate across Finance, Risk, Technology, Operations, and business teams to enhance reporting accuracy, governance, and operational effectiveness. • What You'll Bring • Deep knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., FR Y-9C, FR Y-14, Call Report) and the related accounting considerations. • A strong grasp of banking products, capital, and liquidity concepts. • The ability to translate complex, technical topics into clear guidance for a range of audiences—from working teams to senior leadership. • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and comfort operating across multiple functions. • A track record of navigating change and building durable governance and controls. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. We encourage candidates to connect with their recruiter and hiring manager to understand workplace expectations and ensure the role aligns with their goals. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
