Maintain equipment by performing PM activities, ensuring activities are completed on-time and executed according to the plan. 2. Work closely with Maintenance Planner to ensure maintenance tasks are well documented. 3. Conduct regular maintenance audits of equipment, identifying potential continuous improvement opportunities to improve PM program effectiveness. 4. Provide leadership for TPM activities as assigned. 5. Support the organization and preparation of spare parts and other applicable materials required to complete maintenance tasks for planned maintenance periods and equipment rebuild program. 6. Required to work during plant shut down periods to perform maintenance activities. 7. Provide support to the manufacturing unit technical teams as required to ensure optimal equipment performance. 8. Assist with technical development and training opportunities for unit technical staff on all shifts. 9. Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
Education and Experience
Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED: Required Associates Degree – Preferred Mechanical or other related technical field Minimum Experience: 3 years’ experience in Molding Automation Manufacturing preferred Knowledge and Skills: Minimum Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities (KSA’s): Effective Oral/written Communication - Basic Ability to work as part of a team / Teambuilding - Proficient Independent thinking / Self Driven - Proficient Decision Making Ability - Proficient Machine Design – Proficient Troubleshooting / Problem Solving - Advanced Project Management - Proficient Quality Systems Knowledge – Basic Logistics & Planning Knowledge – Basic Computer Skills / Microsoft Office - Proficient Financial Acumen – Basic Molding Automation Manufacturing- Proficient Electrical Knowledge - Basic At BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
