We are seeking successful candidates to perform a wide variety of tasks relating to the incoming and outgoing of materials, merchandise, or equipment. Duties include receiving, packaging/shipping and inventory/material control.
What You Will Do
Independently coordinate and oversee the transport of materials between warehouses and factory locations, ensuring optimal efficiency. Provide leadership and training to other material handlers and drivers. Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve logistics and inventory processes. Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with documented safety protocols around energetic materials. Handle advanced documentation and reporting for incoming and outgoing shipments using digital systems and ensuring complete accuracy. Operate and troubleshoot a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, walker stackers, and other specialized tools. Conduct regular audits of warehouse/storage areas to ensure a high standard of organization and compliance. Lead team meetings and contribute to strategic production planning. Ordering chemical material through TCMIS. Receive PO on TCMIS to approve their payment.
Qualifications
You Must Have Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience. Experience in a Warehouse or similar environment. Experience ordering materials. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications
We Prefer Experience working independently and developing solutions to moderately complex operational challenges. Knowledge of physical warehousing practices and inventory control systems. Proficiency with logistics or inventory management software (SAP), in addition to standard Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word). Experience in leading and mentoring teams in a manufacturing or logistics environment. Certified Forklift Operator with advanced Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Certification.
