Job Overview
As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician IV, you will focus on advancing the capabilities and services provided by the Braiding Manufacturing department while supporting Annealing, Grinding, and other manufacturing and assembly operations across the site as business needs require. You will partner with Manufacturing Engineers, Operations, R&D, Planning, Quality, and customers to resolve manufacturing process issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and material utilization across multiple operations. You will translate product and process requirements into practical manufacturing solutions that improve quality, productivity, and process capability while ensuring compliance with quality system and regulatory requirements. As a technical resource, you will provide hands-on support to production, lead equipment and process improvement activities, and contribute to the development of robust, high-yielding manufacturing processes. NOTE: The position will be filled as Manufacturing Technician III or IV depending on the candidate’s background and qualifications. Manufacturing Engineering Technician Daily Responsibilities Include:
Support departmental goals for yield, productivity, and quality through process improvement and troubleshooting activities. Perform and provide guidance to other technicians on braiding equipment preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities. Train operators and technicians on braiding processes, equipment operation, setup, and troubleshooting techniques. Coordinate and execute engineering studies requiring independent action, technical expertise, and a high degree of initiative. Ensure compliance with Quality System requirements, documentation standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Assist with the creation, revision, and execution of IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and reports for braiding equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes. Navigate product and process documentation systems to read, follow, and train personnel on procedures, specifications, and standard work. Create, revise, and maintain manufacturing procedures and execute documentation change plans. Drive technical training initiatives and serve as a
