Job Title Solutions Architecture - Advisor II About your role: As a Solutions Architecture, Advisor II, you will design and improve DevOps automation capabilities that support secure, scalable software delivery across platform engineering environments. You will work with engineers, architects, and cross-functional partners to build continuous integration and continuous delivery solutions, strengthen deployment reliability, and improve operational efficiency. Your work helps teams deliver resilient SaaS and enterprise platforms with greater consistency, speed, and control.
What you'll do
Architect, build, and maintain secure continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms to support reliable software delivery. Design and support automated deployment solutions using Kubernetes, Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Argo CD, Helm, and Terraform Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, Bash, Golang, or similar languages to improve operational efficiency, deployment consistency, and platform reliability. Partner with platform engineering, development, security, and infrastructure teams to define technical requirements and implement scalable automation solutions. Manage source control and pipeline workflows using Git, Artifactory, SonarQube, and related tools to support build quality, artifact management, and code validation. Support integration and regression testing in Kubernetes environments to improve release quality and reduce deployment risk. Monitor delivery workflows, identify process gaps, and implement improvements that strengthen compliance, security, and release performance in Agile environments. Experience you'll need to have: 8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or software automation roles supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery environments. 6+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting secure CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms. 6+ years of experience with Kubernetes automation and deployment management using Argo CD, Helm, Terraform, Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), or equivalent container orchestration technologies. 5+ years of experience developing automation solutions using Python, Bash, Golang, or similar programming and scripting languages. Experience using Git, Artifactory, SonarQube, and related tools for source control, artifact management, code quality validation, and release workflows Experience supporting integration and regression testing in Kubernetes-based environments and applying security and compliance controls in software delivery processes. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience. Experience that would be great to have: Experience architecting complex GitLab CI/CD pipeline frameworks in enterprise environments. Experience supporting zero-downtime database upgrades using Liquibase, Flyway, or similar database migration tools. Experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) environments with compliance and security requirements. Experience with cloud-native platform operations and deployment patterns across distributed systems.
