Join Eaton’s EMEA Projects team and lead the delivery of complex, large-scale Datacenter projects. Our solutions span power distribution from medium to low voltage equipment, UPS systems, and battery technologies, all integrated with advanced automation and monitoring systems like DCIM and EPMS. What you’ll do: The electrical Project Engineer is responsible to coordinate all engineering activities including design, develop, and control the electrical systems for customer projects. Such projects are mainly for data center fit out, but could include other types of large and complex projects requiring system integration. Working as an integral part of the customer Project execution team, the PE can work from a local (or home) base, whilst travelling as needed to other locations including suppliers, Eaton manufacturing facilities and client offices and construction sites during pre-order/post order phases. The role requires an experienced, composed, highly motivated, Electrical Engineer who can effectively communicate and work with a wide variety of stakeholders in a dynamic environment and who demonstrate an understanding of all project's electrical requirements. The PE needs to work to specifications and liaise with Engineering consultant, General contractors, subcontractors and clients. Eaton’s Data Centre projects can involve every aspect of power distribution from low to medium voltage, UPS (uninterrupted power supply), and automation such as EPMS (Energy Power Monitoring System) and SCADA. The Project Engineer brings electrical knowledge during Design and implementation until handover Responsible for Technical Scope Management of projects including but not limited to CDE review and coordination with all relevant stakeholders (internal, external...) from tendering to close-out. Ensure technical alignment between projects and coordination with customer. Support PM to manage technical risk by ensuring rapid sharing of lessons learned as well as coordination of approach for maximum effect. Main responsibilities are, Analyzing technical drawings, interpreting specifications, and determining the electrical requirements of a given project. Coordinating and liaising with Eaton engineers (Application engineers, Product engineers, Power system engineer, Cx team, Quality engineers...) and clients to ensure overall project execution Provide and manage technical documentation and techsubs (SLD, Layout, Site Methods, Cx process and sequence) for any required projects Managing and monitoring all assigned electrical projects to ensure documentation is delivered on time Ensuring health and safety codes are obeyed at all times Completing quality assurance on electrical components and projects, and writing up reports. Support Root cause analysis Site assignment for a short period of time can be necessary depending on the progress of the execution of the project. Qualifications: A Bachelors’ Degree or Masters' Degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering. 2-5 years of experience in Electrical design from a system perspective (MV/LV) 2-5 years of experience in Customer Project Management 2-5 years of experience in Datacenter construction project is a plus Skills: English and Spanish language proficiency are required for this
