HPE Cloud Ready Datacenter Networking team is looking for a Principal Software and Solutions Test Engineer with expertise in Datacenter Networking and capable of designing, implementing, operating large scale networking datacenter. Lead Software Development and Solution Testing efforts for Cloud Native products, Networking protocols, obsessed with quality first mindset and solve Datacenter networking problems leveraging large scale automation tools such as AI Agents and Co-pilots. Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs Datacenter networking implementations for enhancements and new products. Participates in software architecture reviews, be a subject matter expert driving customer requirements throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. Contributions have visible technical impact on a product or major subcomponent.  Applies in-depth professional knowledge and innovative ideas to solve complex problems. Visible contributions improve time-to-market, achieve cost reductions, or satisfy current and future unmet customer needs. Recognized internal authority on key technology area applying innovative principles and ideas. Provides technical leadership for significant project/program work. Leads or participates in cross-functional initiatives and contributes to mentorship and knowledge sharing across the organization.   What you need to bring:

B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or related major. Minimum 10 years hands on experience in designing, building and troubleshooting large scale datacenter networks. Expertise in designing and solving problems involving Datacenter Networking Protocols, Distributed systems, Cloud Native software development, Microservices, Infrastructure as a code. Strong hands on experience in TCP/IP networking stack and Datacenter Networking Protocols such as EVPN/VXLAN, BGP. Writing high quality automation code in languages such as Python, Golang, Java, C or C++ to perform Testability, Observability, Debuggability for Cloud and On-prem software solutions. Expertise in Virtual Infrastructure Management Softwares like KVM, Openstack, Kubernetes, VMWare, etc. and able to bring up complex on-demand virtual networking topologies on them. Proficiency in working with infrastructure components like Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Elastic Search, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana. Familiar with problems in operating large scale software and hardware systems and able to drive solutions. Write code, automate the testcases and integrate them to CI/CD pipeline for continuous execution and quality management. Obsession in customer success by building and automating lean test frameworks constantly pushing quality bar. Define and strengthen quality gates and be a gate keeper for production pushes for weekly releases. Attention to details and implement monitoring infrastructure for Hyperscale Infrastructure using stacks such as Open telemetry, leveraging monitoring tools such as Datadog, Signoz.
