Working in a collaborative team environment, this position leads the coordination of filing strategies that support cost recovery and earnings realization for AEP's operating companies. The role provides regular exposure to senior leaders across the company and the opportunity to influence strategic business outcomes. In addition to leading the filing process, Case Managers help shape filing strategy, coordinate regulatory positioning, and facilitate key business decisions that influence case outcomes. This role is highly project-driven, functioning much like a project manager for regulatory filings. Successful candidates are skilled at coordinating diverse stakeholders, influencing without direct authority, maintaining exceptional attention to detail, and keeping complex initiatives moving forward under demanding deadlines. Key responsibilities include managing filing schedules, coordinating witness testimony, overseeing discovery responses, and ensuring compliance with state filing requirements. The Case Manager serves as a hub of activity, keeping teams aligned, timelines on track, and deliverables moving forward under tight deadlines, while ensuring a high degree of accuracy, completeness, and compliance throughout the filing process. Regulatory Services is a high-visibility area of the business, offering exposure to strategic initiatives and opportunities for professional growth. Case Managers help lead regulatory proceedings that support major company investments and shape outcomes affecting customers, communities, and the future of energy infrastructure.
