The Medical Assistant position is responsible for coordinating and assisting the provider to ensure safe quality/cost-effective service and care for the people within the practice population. This position will also be responsible for providing technical clinical services and clerical support for the delivery of quality patient care as directed by licensed staff, a physician, or a mid-level practitioner. This position will work at: Summit Rheumatology Clinic, 991 Southpark Dr, Littleton, CO Hours for this position: Monday - Thursday, 7:00-5:00 (10 hour shift - 38 hours/week) Primary Responsibilities: Working the front desk to be the first friend face to greet patients Collects patient assessment data to include height, weight, vital signs, chief complaint/symptoms, and current medications for assessment by licensed staff Prepares the patient for provider evaluation by obtaining specimens, positioning for exams, listing medications, and assisting during exams and
