Tax compliance: - Ensure timely and accurate tax filing for all legal entities VAT/CIT/IIT/SD/ (monthly/quarterly/annual), including key-account report per request by tax authority. - Assist for CIT Allocation ratio application (quarterly/annual). - Prepare tax JE, such as DTA, CIT, etc. and prepare tax bridge analysis during month-end closing. - Be responsible for monthly tax forecast and annual tax plan. - Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation for tax related accounts, ensure tax reconciliation from accounting booking to tax filing, report any existing and potential issues. - Assist in withholding taxes and foreign exchange control compliance, in charge of forex payments. - Be responsible for the Fapiao management. - Assist in dealing with Tax authorities' queries as well as assessments and tax audits. - Provide practical advice to the internal business partner on financial and tax operational issues. - Supporting the internal & external auditing team and external advisors, when necessary. - Prepare the data collection and calculation of annual TP cycles (Annual TP set up, TP adjustment review), and work with tax agent to complete the annual TP documents. - Assist transfer pricing method study and review. - Proactively communicate with local government authority officials and maintain good relationship. - Ensuring that Paperwork and Filing is up to date. 2. Tax projects: - Assist continuously driving process simplification and standardization of tax processes. - Support business operation, provide timely solution on all tax related issues for new office opening or new projects, such as tax invoices management, ROW and *** collection, etc. - Perform other tax duties assigned. 3. Payroll Related - Review and manage full payroll calculation from payroll service provider. - Provide payroll reporting, data consolidation, verification, reconciliation for both internal and external parities and ensure data quality and timely submission. - Closely work with HR operations and payroll provider to implement payroll related policies and resolve payroll enquires from employees within required timeline. - Support internal and external audit related to payroll and ensure all necessary documents and approvals are implemented per internal control. - Monitor payroll service vendor to apply local social benefit policies in compliance with labor law and HK MPF enrollment/adjustment policies. 4. ESOP: - ESOP tax calculation, including collecting release confirmation, prepare the calculation form, liaise with Payroll Provider to file. - Prepare quarterly report to SAFE regarding the implementation status of ESOP, such as shares granted, shares sold and account balance. Provide annual ESOP application to SAFE if have. - Assist in ESOP registration with tax bureau, including record filing for grant and vest. - Support ESOP external audits and other operation process. QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or tax. - 5 -10 years of qualified tax experience with tax firms or multinational corporations, experience with Service/Travel is a plus. - Tax or accounting qualification
