Job Title ABS US Structured Credit and Banking Coverage Corporate Title Vice President Location New York, NY Overview We’re looking to hire a Vice President within Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) US to support pipeline origination, deal structuring and execution as well as management of existing business book.

You A diverse and inclusive environment that embraces change, innovation, and collaboration A hybrid working model, allowing for in-office / work from home flexibility, generous vacation, personal and volunteer days Employee Resource Groups support an inclusive workplace for everyone and promote community engagement Competitive compensation packages including health and wellbeing benefits, retirement savings plans, parental leave, and family building benefits Educational resources, matching gift and volunteer programs What You’ll Do Interact closely with others in Structured Credit and the Banking Coverage teams in an intense and demanding environment Be responsible for transaction origination and execution including pitching; asset pricing and valuation; interaction with the Global Markets trading floor, clients, attorneys, rating agencies and others involved in executing transactions; and leading the creation and presentation of client marketing presentations Provide an opportunity for those who are enthusiastic to gain exposure to a broad spectrum of asset classes from consumer to transportation while developing client relationships across corporate, fintech and institutional clients of the Firm Integral member of team responsible for origination, structuring and marketing of ABS Coordinate the management of different aspects of securitization transactions including: Evaluation of new potential transactions, which involves comprehensive due-diligence of companies, market research, financial analysis and proposal of pitch ideas Active engagement with the client, the trading floor, attorneys, rating agencies and insurance providers involved in executing transactions Develop transactions’ timelines and responsibilities and ensure that deal process stays on track Review and negotiate underlying transaction documentation and conduct deal structuring Master rating agencies’ framework and guide issuer clients through the entire rating process Develop and present marketing materials and presentations used to solicit new transaction mandates. Work with the team to come up with novel ideas and solutions for Issuer funding requirements Monitor and interpret data affecting securitization programs, such as price, yield, stability, future trends in investment risks, and economic influences Monitor technical market trends and performance of industry participants (for example, deal flow and corporate events) How You’ll Lead Internal groups within the Bank including the banking coverage teams, the trading desks and sales and be comfortable in working with external constituents as indicated above Managing, leading, mentoring and developing junior resources Coordinating team activity and output across multiple juristictions Skills You’ll Need Undergraduate degree Superior analytical aptitude required Strong leadership and management skills Strong computer skills: Rigorous knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both face to face and via telephone and email Skills That Will Help You Excel A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team The willingness to train, mentor and develop junior resources Anticipate needs: demonstrate initiative & pro-activeness with a willingness to learn Excellent organization / prioritization skills Work well under pressure Expectations It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.
