The successful Program Quality Engineer will operate within a high‑visibility, fast‑paced development environment that is part of a larger franchise of interconnected programs. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and the ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve quality and mission assurance challenges that span across the franchise—not just at the individual program level. The effective candidate will implement, develop, and continuously improve processes that ensure compliant systems and proper flow-down of customer-specific quality requirements throughout complex, multi-program lifecycles. You will be responsible for supporting franchise and program teams to ensure Mission Assurance (MA) technical requirements are developed and executed using approved development processes and procedures. You will create or tailor existing planning to administer customer and internal quality requirements across program teams and the broader supply base. This is an on-site position in McKinney, TX. What You Will Do : Represent Mission Assurance on high-visibility program, project, and/or capture teams, including developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for quality content within new franchise-level program bids. Support clear communication of program and franchise goals, targets, requirements, and customer feedback. Assist in providing directions to program teams to ensure quality tasking is accomplished within budget, on schedule, and in alignment with program and franchise planning. Prepare, collect, analyze, and maintain Mission Assurance metrics for both program-specific and franchise-level visibility. Establish strong customer relationships, process customer feedback, and validate customer corrective action requests. Assess and communicate the impact of potential customer escapes, including cross-program or franchise-wide implications. Co-chair Program Corrective Action Boards (CABs) to meet measures and metrics from stakeholder reviews, ensuring issues are addressed with a franchise-aware perspective. Ensure MA reviews and assessments of program performance are conducted—including technical assessments of systems engineering, Quality Assurance, lessons learned, technology, production, and programmatic (cost, schedule, risk) execution—to confirm Quality Management System (QMS) processes are properly defined and implemented.
