About this role
The Product Manager drives revenue through the integration and development of products within the CDW portfolio. This individual keeps current of the market and understands how to create opportunities around core products. In addition, the Product Manager works with partner development management to secure COOP funding to support marketing activities, maintain part numbers within the product portfolio and works closely with segment leaders to develop customer segment focus and product leaders to define solution. The product manager oversees products, processes, projects, and campaigns. What you’ll do Grow revenue and overall profitability for the assigned product category Manage product, promotion, price, competitive positioning, and sales awareness Maintain expert knowledge in a product portfolio as the subject matter expert Develop marketing plans for their product portfolio Maximize sales revenue, profit, and vendor co-op for specific product categories through strategic planning and marketing Recommend pricing strategies, monitor competitive activity, oversees product information, and identifies customer needs Interface with vendors to develop or enhance the marketing of product(s) or product line(s), and manage Co-op and MDF funding Manage SKUs per product categories Optimize catalog and E-commerce merchandising strategy for the category Identify key emerging technologies and partners within the category Forecast sales volumes, run product forecasts, and proactively manage measurable category goals Analyze industry information to identify opportunities and strategies to increase vendor partner sales within CDW Build and maintain successful relationships with partners and act as the liaison and escalation point between CDW and the vendor Create annual Business plan for the respective category Align and communicate with Segment marketing What we expect of you Bachelor’s degree and 5 years sales/ m erchandising / p roduct m anagement / c ategory m anagement / m arketing OR 9 years ’ experience in sales/ merchandising / product management / category management / marketing Preferred skills, experience, and qualities needed Proven track record in marketing product lines with the ability to manage products through their lifecycle, customer engagement scenarios, and product positioning issues Strong understanding of the dynamics of cross-functional teams, with the ability to creatively problem solve Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact and present to all stakeholders including senior leadership Demonstrated financial and analytical skills Successful history of building and maintaining internal and external partner relationships at all levels Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Pay range: $ 90,000 - $ 158,800 depending on experience and skill set Annual bonus target of 10 % subject to terms and conditions of plan Benefits overview: https://cdw.benefit-info.com/ Salary ranges may be subject to geographic differentials CDW is committed to being an AI-fluent organization We’re looking for people who bring curiosity, a learner’s mindset, and a willingness to engage with ever-evolving technology and tools.
