We boldly go. Where is the work: On-Site (5 days) What you will do: Design and develop processes for factory transformation projects and equipment implementation. Improve productivity, quality, equipment performance, energy consumption, and downtime reduction. Provide technical/subject matter expertise and guidance for the resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems specific to the welding and/or braze processes. Serve as a resource for cause/effect investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning. Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality. Be the subject matter expert for code and regulatory compliance for welding processes within the manufacturing facility. Uphold manufacturing standards including: machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings and cycle times. Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs. Partner with on-site EHS to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA.
What you will bring
5+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Project Management, Process Automation and AutoCAD or similar design software experience MIG, TIG welding experience (manual and robotic). ASME, AWS, and PED code compliance knowledge. Familiarity with pressure vessel welding process. Ability to coach, advise and develop teammates and peers. Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred. Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
