We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team, dedicated to ensuring the security and reliability of our cloud infrastructure and applications, with extensive experience in AWS, Terraform, and security integration. Must: AWS and Terraform Competency You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Infrastructure as Code: Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform to ensure scalable and secure deployments AWS Management: Configure and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, and EKS Security Best Practices: Implement security best practices, including encryption, secure coding, and compliance with security platform Automation: Utilize automation tools like Jenkins and Git to streamline CI/CD pipelines Containerization: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes Scripting: Write and maintain scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and management tasks Collaboration: Work closely with development teams and other stakeholders to ensure secure and efficient deployment of applications and infrastructure Problem-Solving: Debug and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure system reliability You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

High School Diploma/ GED 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles with a focus on AWS and Terraform 3+ years of experience in one more scripting or programing language such as Python, Bash, Java, .net, PowerShell 2+ years of experience working with containerization services and technologies (ecs, eks, Kubernetes, docker, etc.) 2+ years of experience working with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Gitlab or Github Actions *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
