Job Overview
Ensuring and monitoring safety in the workplace including the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with established company, environmental and government regulations. Job Requirements
Assessing and reporting site safety performance quarterly using the Safety Assessment for Effectiveness (S.A.F.E.) tool. Developing, planning, implementing and maintaining an EHS management system for the organization that meets the TE Safety Assessment for Effectiveness (SAFE) requirements, implements TE environmental sustainability programs, ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, TE policies and TE specifications and provides for continuous improvement in EH&S performance. Establishing and developing teams for driving EHS improvements and managing EHS programs, including site safety and environmental committees; energy teams and behavioral safety teams. Supporting and guiding the management and direction of EHS programs; training, coaching and mentoring those involved in delivering the EHS programs and those with EHS responsibilities.
What your background should look like
Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level Competencies
