Patient Care Technician - Weekend shift Thurs, Sat and Sun 7a-11p

A Patient Care Tech assists in the direct care & management of patients with medical issues as directed by the treatment team. Assists with unit programming to facilitate the carryover of therapy issues, leisure activities, & activities of daily living within the functional ability of patients & with consideration for the patient’s level of growth & development. Job Requirements: Education and Training: High School diploma or equivalent, Prefer bachelor's degree or college courses in health care, mental health, recreational therapy, education, or human growth and development. Licensure and/or Certification: Current CPR certification, Experience: No minimum required, Prefer one year's experience as a nurse's aide, mental health aide, psych aide, or the equivalent in a rehabilitation, psychiatric, or similar setting. Physical/General: Sustain physical activity and remain on feet throughout scheduled shift. Lifting requirements are 50 lbs and SAMA training is required.
