Job Overview
Work on driving NPD/ NPI and High speed CON designs for ADM BU. They also initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality and cost, while meeting customer requirements and may support and implement product extensions to existing platform products to meet specific customer requirements. They are the key experts in the products they are responsible for at TE Responsibilities:
Drive Innovation: Lead the generation and development of new products, ensuring ideas are transformed into optimally engineered solutions [To Quality, Cost and Timelines] that align with business goals
Technical Leadership: Own and oversee the definition of product specifications, engineering analyses, prototyping, and validation through rigorous testing and simulation tools to guarantee robust, compliant designs. Mandate usage and deployment of LDFSS in designs, Lead design technical reviews and signoffs
Project Ownership: Provide technical sign-off and accountability for New Product Development (NPD) and LEAP projects, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and customer requirements
Validation & Qualification: Own and drive the validation and qualification of electromechanical components/products for Aerospace & Defense markets, leveraging advanced tools and methodologies (e.g., LDFSS)
Complex Problem Solving: Develop solutions to complex technical challenges, requiring deep analysis and innovative thinking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global & local engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver new products on time, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement: Benchmark and implement productivity improvement methods, stay updated on new technologies/materials, and initiate cost-saving or product-enhancing projects.
Team Development: Train, mentor, and develop team members to build a versatile, multi-skilled engineering resource pool, ensuring organizational capability and succession.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build networks with key contacts beyond the immediate team, supporting strategic objectives and driving technology and innovation, Building roadmap for Connector NPD and High speed CON teams
