We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. What's this role about? The Governance team builds a thriving, safe, and fair marketplace ecosystem on TikTok Shop — shaping the policies, programs, and risk controls that help sellers and creators grow responsibly. As a Governance Intern, you'll work on real projects with the [Region] team and get first-hand exposure to how a global platform designs and enforces its rules at scale, including with AI.

Examples of what you'll work on: - Assist in research on market regulations, industry practices, and emerging risks. - Support data checks and analysis to monitor governance metrics and identify trends or root causes - Help review real cases to surface insights that inform policy and enforcement improvements - Support AI-assisted governance workflows: e.g. helping test prompts and evaluate the quality of AI-assisted outcomes - Help prepare documentation, reporting, and cross-team communication for governance programs.
