Our Value Stream Manufacturing Lead will lead all functions across their production line covering four shifts delivering business objectives for safety, quality, production, and continuous improvement. Abide to manufacturing guidelines, policies, and operations run rules. Maintains compliance in safety, quality, and production. Complete all performance and development activities. Key Responsibilities
Advanced level position qualified on designated generation line qualification. Assumes responsibility for performance of designated line and brand to meet safety, quality, and production targets across 4 shifts. In charge of peer leadership, mentorship, and training. Leads coordination of scheduling, monitoring, presenting, and problem solving of line activities. Works closely with cross-functional teams to schedule and facilitate equipment and/or process improvements to improve efficiency, product yield, and equipment reliability. Provides management detailed updates on safety, quality, and production across four shifts. Works with manufacturing partners to coordinate planned downtime minimizing brand impact on shift. Coordinates and leads the team to execute preventative maintenance activities as scheduled. Coordinates brand administration support for all production line activities per assigned line. Leads and/or performs all responsibilities vital to perform routine cleaning, clearing of equipment jams, insert of raw materials, equipment adjustments, mechanical repairs, and troubleshoot equipment failures.
Qualifications
Education: A High school diploma is required, associate degree or equivalent highly preferred. Experience and Skills: Required: A minimum of six (6) years of relevant technical/vocational shown experience required. Proficient interpersonal skills, both written and verbal required. Ability to prioritize projects, tasks and handle multiple tasks. Physical demands of the position include stooping, walking, pulling, light lifting (up to 25 lbs.), grasping, hearing, visual acuity, kneeling, reaching, pushing, talking, standing, and crawling. Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, 6pm to 6am or 6am to 6pm, including weekends, on a regular basis required.
