Job Overview
Coordinates day-to-day planning activities, and organizes and oversees all the activities involved in providing tools and fixtures for production. Responsibilities
Repair & Maintenance of progressive dies to ensure meet production requirements. Modify & Preventive Maintenance of Tools as per plan. Attend the Troubleshoot and diagnose tooling issues during production runs. Basic Knowledge to Operate conventional machines such as lathes, milling, grinding Collaborate with engineers and production team for enhance production efficiency. Maintain tooling spare part inventory and ensure proper storage and organization. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Kaizen & activity of continuous improvement. Maintain documents & follow inline to IATF standard Collaborate with Production, Quality and ME to improve the Productivity. Follow Quality Management System and support record keeping and audits for all the tools. Take accountability for on time completion of given task. Ensure all safety requirements are met. Ensure good engineering practices are followed. Provide inputs to estimate labor and materials required for testing Capable of working to drawings, diagrams, and schematics Must be capable of multitasking and taking full ownership of assigned projects. Participate and/or lead employee continuous improvement teams as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by management Skill Set and Profile
Strong knowledge of die maintenance practices, including disassembly, cleaning, repair, and assembly. Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing issues related to progressive dies. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to use precision measurement instruments and tools for accurate adjustments and repairs. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Hands-on experience operates surface grinding machine. knowledge of tool steels, heat treatment processes, Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience in preventive maintenance activities for continuous operations Knowledge of six sigma tools will be an added advantage. Qualification and Experience
Diploma in Tool & Die Making -NTTF /GTTC/CTTC/IGTR or Equivalent. Min 4-5 years’
