The Senior Logistics Engineer position within Raytheon's Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is a critical role within the Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) team, responsible for developing and maintaining logistics supportability analysis, provisioning data for parts, and spares analysis to ensure hardware systems are efficient, cost-effective, and operationally sustainable throughout their lifecycle. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer program leaders, to align logistics strategies with program objectives. Key tasks include analyzing and optimizing maintenance and support requirements, managing spare parts provisioning and inventory, conducting lifecycle cost analysis, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. This position requires strong expertise in logistics engineering, systems analysis, and defense systems, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills to support continuous improvement and meet customer needs effectively.
What You Will Do
You will apply advanced logistics principles to develop complex program level concepts and plans. You will lead a team to implement the successful execution of these plans. You will collaborate with cross-product teams including Chief Engineers, Program Directors and Program Managers. You will develop Basis of Estimates for proposal efforts. Travel will be less than 10%.
Qualifications
You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. Experience with Technical Data Packages such as drawings, parts lists and/or electrical schematics.
Qualifications
We Prefer Experience in understanding a Hardware Generation Breakdown or Bill of Material. Experience in the development and maintenance of Logistics Product Data (LPD) in accordance with GEIA-STD-0007 or MIL-STD-1388-2B. Experience in performing Spares Analysis and Spares List Development . Experience working with relational databases. Experience utilizing software tools such as EAGLE, POWERLOG or SLICWave.
