Imkoniyatlarni qayta tasavvur qiling We are seeking an experienced Machinery Engineering Lead to join our team in Karshi, Uzbekistan and provide technical leadership for critical rotating equipment across our operations. In this role, you will serve as the site subject matter expert for machinery systems, driving equipment reliability, mechanical integrity, and operational performance while supporting maintenance, operations, and capital projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead machinery engineering activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation. Serve as the technical authority for rotating equipment including compressors, turbines, pumps, turbo-expanders, and associated systems. Develop and implement machinery reliability and mechanical integrity programs. Analyze equipment performance, investigate failures, and lead root cause analyses. Support planned shutdowns, troubleshooting activities, and maintenance strategy development. Provide engineering support for plant modifications, capital projects, and Management of Change (MOC) processes. Review technical specifications, vendor proposals, engineering documentation, and contractor work. Drive compliance with company standards, process safety requirements, and local regulations. Mentor and develop machinery engineering personnel and provide technical guidance to maintenance teams. Collaborate with global technical experts, project teams, contractors, OEMs, and regulatory authorities.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; advanced degree is a plus. 10+ years of experience with rotating equipment in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Chemical Processing, Industrial Gases, Power Generation, or Steel Manufacturing. Strong knowledge of rotating equipment design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability. Experience with mechanical integrity programs, predictive maintenance, inspection methodologies, and failure investigations (RCA). Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), Management of Change (MOC), capital projects, plant modifications, and relevant industry standards. Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities. Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive results. Working proficiency in English, Russian, and Uzbek.
