Overview
As a Microsoft Regional DC Ops AI Solutions Lead, serve as the technical authority and AI Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the APAC Data Center Operations (DC Ops) AI Board, leading the strategy, governance, architecture, deployment, and operationalization of AI-enabled solutions across APAC Data Center Operations. This job will allow you to build a strong understanding of demonstrate and further develop your expertise in datacenter services. It will also provide you with opportunities of working with teams across various geographies. Responsibilities
This role aligns business priorities with a security-first culture and leverages AI technologies to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, safety, compliance, reliability, and business outcomes. The AI Solutions Lead oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of AI initiatives from opportunity identification through pilot execution, production deployment, adoption, governance, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with Microsoft security, privacy, safety, and Responsible AI standards. The role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Security, Compliance, Product Engineering, and business stakeholders to translate operational challenges into scalable AI solutions that deliver measurable value across Data Center Operations.
Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy, Governance & Technical Leadership Serve as the APAC DC Operations AI SME and trusted advisor, driving AI strategy, governance, architecture, and adoption across Data Center Operations. Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, reliability, safety, security, and business outcomes. Establish AI standards, governance frameworks, production readiness requirements, and operational support models aligned with Responsible AI, security, compliance, and Microsoft policies. Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI initiatives from opportunity assessment and solution design through deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement. Data Center Operations Partner with Data Center Operations, Engineering, Security, Compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI solutions that support operational objectives, compliance requirements, and security-first practices. Drive AI-enabled improvements in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), operational troubleshooting, process optimization, and KPI/OKR performance. Support operational planning, risk mitigation, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across Data Center Operations. Data Center Work Environment Lead organizational change management and adoption activities to integrate AI capabilities into operational workflows.
