Merchandising Specialist

Weyerhaeuser’s TOPS yard, based out of Springfield, OR has an opening for a Merchandising Specialist, with experience operating log loading equipment. We are seeking individuals who desire to work in a market-focused log processing environment. This is a full-time, hourly position. Hourly employees at this operation are represented by the IAM-AW Union. Benefits (in accordance with the Labor Agreement) include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Vacation, and Holidays. Rate of pay is $31.59 per hour. Key Functions: - Proficiently operate loading shovel to sort logs and load trucks - Make daily adjustments to maximize efficient yard processes, dictated by business needs (weather, labor, truck schedule etc.) - Become efficient with apps and other systems/technology as required - Assist with equipment inspections and fully support and participate in preventative maintenance procedures and routine maintenance repairs as needed
