Support financial planning and analysis activities, including forecasting, latest estimates, and quarterly/annual reporting for Finance & Spend Management (F&SM), leveraging tools such as Excel and SAP systems to enhance efficiency and speed of delivery. Prepare and deliver data extracts and presentations for internal stakeholders (e.g., business partners, investor relations, group controlling), utilizing reporting tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI) and selective automation/AI to streamline data preparation and improve turnaround time. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and ensure timely execution of deliverables, contributing to efficient and well-aligned workflows across functions. Analyze F&SM business performance and trends, generating insights and identifying improvement opportunities, supported by advanced analytics and selective AI-driven capabilities where appropriate. Support financial closing, reporting, and quality assurance processes, including standard and ad-hoc reports, applying tools (e.g., Excel, SAP) and AI-enabled checks where relevant to cross-validate results and ensure high data accuracy in line with the four-eye principle. Support the controlling team with ad hoc reporting requests, data analysis, and special projects as-needed basis, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights as business needs evolv

What you bring

Student (f/m/d) pursuing a degree at a university or university of applied sciences, preferably in Business Administration, Controlling, Finance, Economics, Sustainability, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP or similar financial/reporting systems is a plus. Solid communication skills in English and German, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey information to diverse stakeholders. Analytical and structured mindset with a high level of reliability, ownership, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Quick learner with an affinity for digital tools and emerging technologies (including AI), combined with a systematic and efficient approach to data handling and problem-solving.

Meet your team As part of the Finance and Spend Management (F&SM) Controlling team, you will primarily support the F&SM business while also contributing to other solution areas as needed. The team consists of highly experienced Controllers who proactively drive a broad range of topics, including support for Sales and, in some cases, Marketing teams, development of business cases and financial models, as well as portfolio, profitability, and margin analyses. In parallel, the team continuously works on streamlining end-to-end processes and collaborates closely across multiple functions.
