Responsibilities
Partner with the Site Leader to develop and execute the site's Operational Excellence strategy through the TEOA operating system. Lead the deployment and sustainment of Continuous Improvement initiatives that drive measurable business results in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, and Productivity. Own the execution of the Harris Lean System roadmap, including quarterly assessments, executive reviews, and continuous improvement action plans. Develop leaders by coaching Lean Leadership, Daily Management, Problem Solving, and Operational Excellence principles. Drive the implementation and sustainment of Daily Management, 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, and other Lean systems across the site. Lead Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, and strategic improvement projects to eliminate waste and improve operational performance. Partner cross functionally to optimize end to end value streams and support capacity, planning, and operational priorities. Monitor Operational Excellence performance through KPIs, dashboards, and data analysis to identify gaps and prioritize improvement opportunities. Foster a culture of accountability, employee engagement, and continuous improvement through visible leadership and Gemba based coaching. Ensure all Continuous Improvement activities are standardized, sustained, and aligned with corporate Operational Excellence objectives. What your background should look like
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred. TEOA Practitioner Certification required or ability to obtain certification within the first year. Minimum of 10–12 years of manufacturing experience with progressive responsibility in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Continuous Improvement. Minimum of 5 years leading site level Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence initiatives. Demonstrated experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Daily Management Systems, Value Stream Mapping, and structured problem solving methodologies.
