Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months. If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months. Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months. Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days. Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods. Company: Cobb Position Summary : Monitor Hatchery and equipment; prepare hatchery for processors to perform duties; clean and sanitize hatchery areas and equipment as specified. Other duties may be assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Monitors building and surrounding grounds for unauthorized entry, vandalism, safety hazards (25%) Inspects and monitors equipment (inside/outside) for proper operation (25%) Manually records temperature and humidity readings. Monitors formaldehyde per schedule. (10%) Places eggs in incubator. Pedigree egg check and inventory on Saturday. (10%) Fumigates specified areas of the facility as required (10%) Prepares Hatchery for processors by: chick room set up, placing wing bands on tables and mats on floors, set up of chick boxes and scales (10%)  Other duties, responsibilities and activities: Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice, such as; clean incinerators; perform janitorial ; monitor operation of generator during power failure; maintains foot pans and hand sanitizer; assist with egg sets as needed. 10%) Respirator certification is required and maintained by testing on an annual basis. Must be willing to achieve and maintain a respirator certification: TM’s must remain clean shaven during all scheduled work hours. Biosecurity/Animal Welfare/Safety Requirements : The jobsite is a bio secure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility.  Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company.  No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare
