Director, Security Sales - Enterprise Commercial (EC)

The Microsoft Security organization brings together integrated innovation across identity, data security, endpoint, cloud security, security operations and AI security to help customers adopt AI safely, confidently and at scale.   As a Security Specialist Sales Director , you will lead a high-performing security sales organization to accelerate customer AI transformation through an AI-first integrated security platform narrative. You will drive the pivot from selling individual security products to winning the secure agentic platform at customers by orchestrating ABS, CAI and SCI across solution areas. You will help customers establish an AI-ready security baseline, secure data estates, govern AI applications and agents, and defend at machine speed through modern security operations. This role requires executive-level leadership with CISOs, CIOs, CEOs and boards to position Security as a booster of AI transformation — not a blocker — and to translate Microsoft Security innovation into durable customer outcomes and business growth.     In line with our Flexible Work approach, for roles at Microsoft Germany, we recommend spending at least two days per week in the office or at the customer site.

Strategic Security & AI Leadership   Lead the Security sales organization to win AI with Security by positioning Microsoft Security as the foundation and accelerator for safe AI transformation.   Drive the shift from product-led selling to an AI-first, integrated security platform narrative across identity, data, endpoint, cloud security, security  operations  and AI security.   Own the customer conversation around AI-ready productivity, secure data estates, trusted AI platforms, secure  agents  and agentic security operations.   C ross So lution  ABS/CAI/SCI Orchestr ation   Orchestrate ABS,  CAI  and SCI stakeholders to build integrated account strategies for Secure AI, Secure Agentic Platform and AI transformation security outcomes.   Align account teams, technical specialists, solution engineering, customer success,  partners  and marketing around two customer conversations: AI-ready productivity & security for every employee, and trusted & secure platform for AI.   Create repeatable execution motions that connect Copilot adoption, data security, identity, governance, threat  protection  and Security Operations into one customer-relevant transformation story.   Frontier Growth & Business Execution   Drive pipeline, forecasting, strategic deal execution, share gain and market expansion for Microsoft Security in AI and agentic workload scenarios.   Act as executive sponsor for strategic secure AI opportunities and frontier accounts where platform orchestration, customer trust and cross-solution-area alignment are decisive.   Coach teams to  identify  AI transformation triggers, security readiness gaps and platform consolidation opportunities that expand Microsoft Security relevance and customer value.   Customer Executive Engagement   Engage CISOs, CIOs, CEOs, boards and AI transformation leaders on cyber resilience, secure AI adoption, governance, responsible AI  operations  and agentic platform risk.   Help customers understand that security is not a brake on AI, but the control plane and confidence layer that enables AI transformation to scale.
