THE ROLE

Join our Core Engineering team to power the foundation of our Enterprise Data Cloud, delivering six 9s of system reliability to global enterprises. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of core platform components, solving complex distributed systems challenges through thoughtful software design. Partnering closely with cross-functional engineering teams, you will drive features from concept to production, directly shaping how organizations scale their most critical data.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Advance Platform Reliability & Scale: Design and build resilient, high-throughput distributed algorithms to sustain six 9s of continuous uptime across the Enterprise Data Cloud engine.

• Drive End-to-End Feature Delivery: Lead key platform initiatives from architectural design through production rollout, expanding overall system capabilities for enterprise customers.

• Resolve Complex System Challenges: Evaluate multi-faceted engineering issues across distributed consensus, resource allocation, and fault tolerance to guarantee performance under high workloads.

• Collaborate Across Engineering Teams: Partner daily with peer engineers to conduct rigorous design and code reviews, share technical expertise, and influence long-term platform architecture.

WHAT YOU BRING

• C++ Systems Engineering: Technical proficiency writing clean, maintainable, and concurrent C++ production code for high-performance systems.

• Distributed Systems Knowledge: Solid grasp of fundamental system design principles, operating system internals (Linux), database engines, or containerized environments, including performance trade-offs and failure modes.

• Analytical Problem-Solving: Ability to evaluate complex technical scenarios, apply structured debugging approaches, and devise creative solutions for scalable infrastructure.

• Autonomous Execution & Teamwork: Capacity to exercise sound judgment on complex engineering tasks while collaborating effectively across functional teams to achieve shared objectives.

• Work Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work
