Job Description
The jobholder will be responsible for: · Lead, motivate and develop the team of QA (Quality Assurance) engineers. · Acting as focal point of QA engineers towards other areas. · Reporting to Head of Quality Plant. · Preparation of executive summaries and KPIs. · Harmonization of activities and practices within QAs team. · Promoting a preventive quality mindset within the production/AIT teams, ensuring the implementation of basic quality processes (Non Conformities management, Root Cause Analisis, NRB, quality authorization, operational surveillance, etc…). · Ensure the QA team provides the quality documentation such as the Quality Assurance Plan, Quality Control Plan, inspection reports, etc., for the different projects. · Coordinate subcontracted service of inspections in the cleanroom (priorities). · Consolidate QA budget, estimating the need of QA / QI resources for the different projects. · Production areas include Satellites (antennas, whole platforms, instruments) and aerostructures for launchers. · Identifying and implementing measures to reduce the cost of quality (such as reducing inspections and sampling). · Part time to perform QA operative work for projects, with the following main responsibilities: · Acting as the main point of contact for quality matters for the relevant project(s) throughout the assembly, integration, and test (AIT) phases, including interfacing with other departments such as Manufacturing Engineering, Materials and Processes, AIT management etc. · Coordinating inspections (incoming and outgoing inspections, KIPs, MIPs). · Managing non-conformities and deviations raised during the AIT phases. · Organizing and managing reviews such as Integration Readiness Reviews (IRRs). REQUIRED SKILLS: · Engineering degree or equivalent (Physics, Chemistry, etc.). · At least 5 years of experience in the quality domain for space sector projects. · Experience coordinating people. · Languages: fluent in Spanish (at least C1) and English. · Objectives oriented · Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
