L3Harris is seeking a Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of classified network environments up to Top Secret in Salt Lake City, Utah. The successful candidate will serve as a mid-level technical contributor responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant network operations supporting mission-critical programs. This role requires strong experience with enterprise networking technologies, secure infrastructure design, and troubleshooting within controlled classified environments. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, and supporting lifecycle upgrades, compliance initiatives, and operational sustainment activities. Essential Functions Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot classified network infrastructure supporting operations up to the Top Secret level. Engineer secure network solutions including routing, switching, firewall, and VPN technologies. Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, and capacity across mission-critical environments. Investigate and resolve complex network issues, outages, and security-related events. Support classified network compliance activities including system hardening, audit readiness, and accreditation efforts. Apply cybersecurity best practices to network architecture, segmentation, access controls, and device configuration. Create and maintain network diagrams, implementation plans, technical documentation, and standard operating procedures. Execute network changes in accordance with established configuration management and change control processes. Partner with cybersecurity, systems administration, and program teams to maintain secure and compliant infrastructure. Support technology refresh, network modernization, and lifecycle replacement efforts. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced team members as needed. Participate in on-call rotation, scheduled maintenance windows, and after-hours operational support as required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Active Secret security clearance required, or ability to obtain and maintain one as required by the program. Preferred Additional Skills Experience
