Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Systems Integration Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located on site in Melbourne, Florida. The selected candidate is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enforcing model style guide rules to ensure quality, consistency and integrity of MBSE artifacts developed in Cameo. They will assist the organization with training and reviews related to System Architecture (requirements, interfaces, behaviors, structures, and parametric) contained within MBSE models. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Familiarity with model governance concepts, such as configuration management and control processes. Ability to review models for compliance with organizational modeling standards and best practices. Work on an agile team utilizing Jira to track work progress Communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings at technical and program reviews and boards. Apply extensive technical expertise in the development of technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Systems Engineer: Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline and 2 years of related professional/military experience, OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related professional/military experience. Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline and 5 years of related professional/military experience, OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related professional/military experience, OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 1 year of experience. Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company. Experience with applied SysML using Cameo Systems Modeler or Equivalent software.
