Reporting to the Global Internal Events Lead at Canva within the Vibe team, this role is anchored in two core areas: program production, and team operations . You'll be accountable for ensuring both of these areas work together to deliver a consistent, high-quality, and distinctly Canva experience across every program we run — from the largest company-wide moments to the activations that make everyday life at Canva feel special. This includes actively leading the production of our most significant events, including Season Openers, Company Goal Celebrations, Droptober, and other Tier 1 programs — not as an oversight role, but as a hands-on production lead with full ownership of timelines, agency and vendor relationships, and on-the-ground delivery. Alongside direct production ownership, this role oversees the agencies and external partners who support our program — setting the brief, holding the quality bar, and ensuring what gets delivered reflects the Canva standard. This role also plays a critical part in driving regional alignment across our global campuses, ensuring that the way we plan, brief, and deliver programs creates a consistent experience for Canvanauts wherever they are, while still leaving room for moments that feel genuinely local. While the primary focus is production excellence, this role also acts as the operational backbone of the Vibe events team — building the systems, processes, and frameworks that make the whole program more consistent, more scalable, and less reactive. Think part Director of Production, part Chief of Staff. This is an experienced, hands-on role that requires strong production instincts, calm leadership under pressure, and the ability to hold operational complexity while still finding space to contribute creatively to the work. It requires someone who has been in the room — who knows what it takes to produce something big and make it operate seamlessly — and who is ready to help build something that lasts.

On any given week you might be deep in a production timeline for an upcoming Opener, reviewing a vendor brief, or building the process that makes the next program run smoother than the last. Here's what that looks like in practice. Produce Flagship Programs You'll be the production lead on some of Canva's most important internal moments — Season Openers, Company Goal Celebrations, Droptober, and other Tier 1 activations. That means owning the brief, managing agencies and vendors, holding the timeline and budget, and making the call when things don't go to plan. You're not orchestrating from a distance — you're in it.
