The Environmental Project Manager leads the successful planning, execution, and delivery of environmental services supporting electric transmission, substations, renewable energy, telecommunications, and other energy infrastructure projects throughout the United States. This position has primary responsibility for project performance, client relationships, budgets, schedules, staffing, environmental compliance, and overall project execution. As the environmental leader assigned to a project, the Environmental Project Manager works closely with clients, construction leadership, engineering teams, regulatory agencies, environmental specialists, and multidisciplinary project teams to successfully deliver projects while protecting natural resources, maintaining regulatory compliance, and meeting project objectives. This position combines leadership, technical expertise, financial accountability, and client service while building high-performing project teams and delivering exceptional environmental solutions. Our Environmental Project Managers do more than manage projects. They lead multidisciplinary teams that balance environmental stewardship, construction efficiency, regulatory compliance, and outstanding client service.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Lead environmental services for complex infrastructure projects from project kickoff through successful completion. Develop and manage project execution plans, including scope, staffing, schedules, budgets, forecasts, resource allocation, and risk management. Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations, contract requirements, and quality standards. Lead implementation of environmental compliance programs, including SWPPP, SPCC, dust management, reclamation, biological mitigation, permit compliance, environmental monitoring, inspections, documentation, and regulatory reporting. Coordinate environmental permitting activities and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, Tribal, and local regulations. Develop practical environmental solutions and mitigation strategies that support successful project execution while protecting natural resources. Lead, mentor, and develop Environmental Specialists, Assistant Environmental Project Managers, and field personnel while supporting staffing, performance, and professional growth.
