HubSpot is on a mission to help millions of organizations grow better, and here on our Corporate FP&A team, we’re excited to be starting the search for a Senior Financial Analyst to help get us there. Achieving this goal will come with some pretty cool challenges to tackle, and in this role you’ll help us take on some of the biggest, such as: How do we structure our compensation and rewards to attract and retain top talent? How do we enhance our planning and tracking process to scale with our organization? How do we balance growth and profitability in an ever-changing macro environment?

These are complex questions with even more complex answers. In this role, you’ll get to leverage your advanced financial modeling skills, storytelling ability, and knack for cross-functional partnership to help us find them. • Comprehensive P&L ownership. You will take the lead on critical company-wide inputs, including equity forecasting, global benefits, and headcount planning. You’ll also directly manage the Legal team’s P&L, offering you a unique scope over OpEx and broader financial strategy.

• Strategic executive collaboration. You will work directly with senior leadership, acting as a trusted advisor. This role offers frequent exposure to top-tier stakeholders and the opportunity to influence major business decisions.

• Advanced financial modeling. This will require strong analytical skills, comfort working with new data, and a knack for logical structure.

• An emphasis on storytelling and analysis. You’ll go one step further than building complex models and reporting on the numbers. You’ll find the story behind them and present it in a simple, clear way.

• Deep business partnerships. Our goal is to act as strategic advisors to the business. As such, relationships are one of the most important parts of the job.

• A track record of success. We’re looking for someone with at least three years of professional experience operating at a high level of excellence. Experience in strategy consulting, tech finance or any high growth industry is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience. MBA is nice to have.

• Strong analytical and storytelling ability. Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills are the table stakes of this position. Senior Financial Analysts are also able to clearly communicate the story the numbers are telling and drive action as a result.

• Big-picture thinking and intellectual curiosity. We’re looking for someone who’s confident in creating clarity out of confusion, asking tough questions, and putting forth strategic recommendations.

• Brings an AI-first operating mindset. Proactively identifying opportunities to use AI
