In this role you will be responsible for providing full time project management support for all existing buildings and infrastructure systems regionally across Airbus Americas. Manage facilities staff, vendors and contractors. Provide administration programming design, construction and technical support to ensure all construction projects assigned are executed in accordance with the established standards and procedures. Contributes to all property decisions with the Sr. Facilities Manager to develop objectives and outcomes for all facilities projects. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Your challenges: Project Management: 50% Provide full time project management support region-wide, identifying requirements and communicating milestones and detailed deliverables. Attends organizational meetings for input on construction, renovation, and other types of projects requested. Serves as a representative of Facilities Management in the execution and administration of engineering, design and construction projects. Inspect, identify, and resolve design, detail, and logistics problems with Project Lead, architects, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that workmanship conforms to the proper specifications and schedules. Reviews change requests to construction design and prepare recommendations for review/approval by Facilities Management.
