Why you should join

TE Connectivity’s Energy business unit is seeking a remote Financial Analyst – Plant Ops based in Poland, Romania, or Morocco to support one manufacturing site within the EMEA region. This role acts as a finance business partner to the plant organization, providing financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and operational decision support while working closely with the Plant Controller, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance Shared Services. The position is remote but requires regular collaboration with plant stakeholders and periodic travel to the supported site, estimated at 10% to 25%. The analyst will support month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, standard costing, inventory and variance analysis, capital and fixed asset governance, and performance reporting, ensuring timely and accurate insights for operational and financial decision-making.   Your tasks:

Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting submissions for the supported plant. Analyze plant performance, including conversion cost, material usage variance, purchase price variance, scrap, productivity, inventory, absorption, and cost center spend. Prepare clear financial commentary, bridges, and management summaries that explain key drivers, risks, opportunities, and required actions. Partner remotely with Operations and plant leadership to support financial performance management and operational improvement initiatives. Support annual budget, quarterly forecast, and weekly/monthly outlook processes for the supported site. Maintain and analyze standard costs, routings, master data, and cost build-ups in SAP, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with TE policies. Monitor inventory, WIP, reserves, and fixed assets; support physical inventory and fixed asset count activities during site visits or through structured remote coordination. Support capital expenditure requests, fixed asset transfers, project tracking, and financial governance in line with approval requirements. Drive reporting automation, standardization, and process improvement using Excel, Power Query, SAP, HFM, or similar tools. Ensure compliance with TE financial policies, internal controls, SOX requirements, and applicable local requirements. Your ideal profile:
