Job Description

About the position: We have an exciting position available in our EPDM HQ as International Accounts Nego Lead & PMO. In this position, you report directly to our EU International Buying Lead. You will be responsible for preparing, coordinating and executing multiple international negotiations during the „nego season “, complemented by leading and coordinating central projects during the „off nego season “. In brief, you are responsible for: LEADING INTERNATIONAL NEGOTIATIONS (approx. Aug – Feb) Leading the coordination and execution of our international nego‘s between the different countries involved. Conducting the negotiation from A to Z (analytics, to strategy, to game plan, to execution), making sure all relevant stakeholders are fully aligned to the plan & their concrete role to play. Consolidating country input and translating it into 1 EPDM aligned strategy & gameplan. Actively involving countries to make sure all relevant BU stakeholders buy into & sign off on the strategy and gameplan. Being the KH spokesperson at the negotiation table with our international customers. Report & present internally on progress (audience: Sales directors, BU MD’s). Close collaboration with the EPDM commercial finance team, the EPDM Buying Groups legal team, the BU sales & commercial teams and the BU commercial finance teams. LEADING CENTRAL PROJECTS (approx. Mar – July) Leading central projects at the benefit of multiple countries. Eg: Shelf Ready Packaging for HD, channel specific assortments, find economies of scale in displays / mixtrays / promos / etc. Connecting and coordinating with cross-department stakeholders (eg. Consumer insights, RGM, marketing, S&OP, production). Deliver the execution of the central projects; from ideation to„ready for shipment “.

Qualifications

Master's degree; 5+ years of proven experience in commercial negotiations; Experience in multi-country negotiations; Clear interest in the European retail landscape & its recent dynamics; Strong communication skills to build solid internal relationships with multiple BU & HQ stakeholders and external customer relationships; Fluent in English (written/spoken); Solid knowledge of commercial metrics (e.g. Retailer trade margin, etc.) and a commercial P&L; Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities; Flexible mindset, to deal & adapt rapidly to last minute changing circumstances, info or priorities. Professional Attributes: Communication Skills – you will be frequently exposed & interacting with senior management, no matter their level. Therefore, it’s important to have excellent interpersonal skills, to take care of all kinds of different collaborators. Ability to Simplify - We like to keep it simple. And to implement fast. Your simplification skills will be highly appreciated, when providing simple solutions dealing with sophisticated challenges. Commercial Sense - Always seeking for opportunities to expand the business and be smart on how to reach our goals. Analytical – Accurate data points and a solid understanding of them are crucial to make the best decisions for the business and translate complex data into a simple solution.
