We are a culture that dreams big and embraces an entrepreneurial and ownership spirit - just like our business customers.  Our Command Center team within the BC&P Operating Office is looking for a dynamic Project Manager and team leader. This team leads the delivery for some of BC&P’s highest priority initiatives. In this exciting role, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and amplify BC&P’s most impactful work, solve complex problems from our distinct vantage point, all while balancing strategy and tactics. Our project work runs the gamut, some examples include: launching new products, leading updates to existing products and features, or leading foundational initiatives that enable growth.

As a Senior Manager of Project Management in BC&P, you will collaborate with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. You will lead a team of project managers to deliver important and exciting projects, working alongside key stakeholders across the company. Although the opportunities are endless, the core responsibilities of a Senior Manager of Project Management include: Lead the delivery of high-priority initiatives and work streams that span across Business Cards and Payments and Capital One, directly and through a team of project managers Design, develop, and manage project plans and delivery roadmaps in a complex dynamic environment Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical recommendations in support of project delivery Drive solutions to complex problems across cross-functional teams by applying sound business judgment to navigate trade-offs between competing priorities Manage a large set of stakeholders Effectively manage scope, schedule, resources and budget Communicate status, impediments, and risks/issues across all levels of the program Deliver results and influence business outcomes across all levels of the organization Influence and manage stakeholders and intent owners across COF ranging from VP+ to associate The person will: Lead a team of project managers  Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment Display a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates through their leadership style Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and
