Lead Software Engineer

Grade Level (for internal use): 11 The Team Our team consists of highly collaborative developers who specialize in Well Log and Land data. We value innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement, working together to develop and enhance software solutions and managing complex database items. Our dynamic environment encourages knowledge sharing and creative problem-solving, with the goal of delivering impactful solutions within the energy sector. Responsibilities and Impact: Build and maintain frontend features using Angular and backend services in Python. Enhance and support legacy codebases in C++, C#.NET, and Java for seamless integration with modern applications. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues within Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases. Develop complex SQL scripts and procedures for internal reporting and data audits. Manage application deployment and health using AWS services (RDS, S3, EC2) and GitHub for CI/CD workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for well log and land data management. What We’re Looking For: Professional proficiency in Python and TypeScript (Angular). Strong expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL database systems. Ability to read and debug C++, C#.NET, and Java legacy codebases. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Clear and effective communication skills. Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AWS infrastructure and CI/CD deployment practices. Advanced skills in developing and optimizing complex SQL queries. Familiarity with GitHub for version control and workflow management. Passion for innovative software development within the energy sector. Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.
