A Day in the Life Join our Nordic Service & Repair department, a rapidly growing team at Medtronic. We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our customers across Finland. Your focus will be providing the highest levels of field service and customer support across a wide range of products to customers. Mainly starting with specializing on O-arms and Surgical Innovation (SI) products like FT10 generators. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance customer experience and loyalty while driving service revenue and commercial opportunities. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing the strategy for Service and Repair in Finland, with the goal of establishing us as an uncontested market leader as a serviceprovider across all sectors. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Leading installations, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades Proactively engaging customers, providing expert support, and building strong long-term relationships Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing on-site repairs to ensure systems meet manufacturer specifications Supporting integration of new products and configuring updates to existing systems Providing technical support by phone and remotely, and serving as an escalation point for complex issues Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with operational, quality, and safety standards Required Knowledge and Experience: Biomed training, degree, or equivalent in electronic/electro-mechanical engineering Relevant experience in the medical equipment or healthcare industry; hospital, X-ray, or OR product experience is an advantage Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage stressful situations, build long-term customer relationships, and exceed expectations   Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.  ‌ Recruitment Fraud Alert   We are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
