The Manager, Business Analytics position is a technical, hands-on role. They will optimize the impact of Global Supply Chain programs across stakeholders while using deep analytical insights and machine learning / AI to make data driven decisions and recommendations. How you'll make an impact: Collaborate with stakeholders from BUs, functions and regions to understand business challenges, problems and opportunities. Design, develop and implement innovative solutions, from idea to incubation to scaling, both technical (e.g., metrics dashboards, meta-data additions to enhance reporting and analytics) and non-technical (e.g., process changes, simplified workflow changes). Partner with IT and other software development partners to architect, drive design, implement operational performance improvement for BUs, functions and regions/plants. Continually improve user experience for Business Intelligence reports and dashboards. Perform complex data analysis and identify opportunities to improve training, processes, systems and product data quality. Drive the development and manage the execution of “art of the possible” POC/POV/pilots on a product lines and manufacturing areas to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; analyze results and make recommendations. Train, coach and guide lower-level employees on scaling solutions, driving results and change management. Lead and establish complex project plans to ensure deliverables are completed to customer’s expectations, using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Project Plan, Risk Analysis, etc.). Develop training and documentation materials (e.g., work instructions) for production to enable seamless knowledge transfer of project and manufacturing processes. Create processes and procedures (e.g., SOPs, work instructions) for applicable Supply Chain functions.
What you'll need
(Required): Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field with 8 years of previous related experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria Experience in architecting, developing and deploying business intelligence, analytics and reporting solutions to internal and external stakeholders What else we look for (Preferred): MBA Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification Experience working in a large manufacturing company Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry Proven successful project management skills Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Advanced Excel, Global Supply Chain, and relational databases systems Experience in manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, ERP) required. Systems such as SCADA, asset management and QMS Ability to develop compliance processes and procedures Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills Ability to translate technical information to all levels of the organizations Knowledge of database, data warehousing or data sciences Extensive understanding of supply chain operations Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards Extensive understanding of quantitative methodologies, techniques and tools to develop best in class analytic solutions Strong leadership skills and ability to influence change Solid knowledge and understanding with BI, reporting, data mining, or multi-data center applications Analytical approach to
