Our commitment to care includes developing integrated delivery systems through partnerships with medical surgical hospitals, community mental health centers, educational institutions, managed care organizations, local health professionals and agencies. https://mesillavalleyhospital.com/ Mesilla Valley Hospital is currently seeking a Admissions Registrar The Admissions Registrar is responsible for greeting and assisting all visitors, answering the switchboard, and providing clerical support as requested. In addition, assisting with various clerical duties and projects assigned to include assistance in A&R. Those duties include completing a call sheet for each caller who is requesting services or information from our facility and advising A&R staff immediately. The admissions rep/registrar is also responsible for monitoring the cameras which are placed in the assessment rooms and at the reception desk and will notify A&R staff immediately if questionable behavior is observed or take appropriate action. The registrar is responsible for obtaining patient vitals within 15 minutes of arrival at the facility, and alerting A&R staff if there are any concerns. Additionally, the Registrar is responsible for ensuring that the Police Log and Belongings Log are maintained. Assist with registering patients in patient record and assessment software, review e-faxes when clinicians are unavailable, assist with walking patients to unit. Answer phones, complete call sheets, and enter information into patient records and assessment software. Assist with intake optimization and maintain bed boards during shift.
