Job Description
Join Micron as a Principal CAD Engineer/Manager in Boise, ID, and play a pivotal role in crafting the future of memory and semiconductor technologies! Responsibilities
In the role of Principal CAD Engineer/Manager, you will: Lead the building and development of advanced CAD tools and methodologies. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to successfully implement and integrate CAD solutions. Determine and establish CAD build standards and guidelines. Mentor and guide engineers, encouraging an inclusive and collaborative environment. Benchmark internal capabilities against industry standards to ensure competitive performance. Coordinate the maintenance and improvement of existing CAD tools to ensure flawless operation.
Minimum Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in CAD tool development and management. Strong knowledge of semiconductor build and processes. Outstanding problem-solving abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a diverse group. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.
Preferred Qualifications
We highly value candidates with: Experience in managing CAD projects from concept through implementation. Experience with commonly used CAD tools and software in the industry. A track record of mentoring and developing engineers early in their careers. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts. Experience with DRAM or NAND device development.
